SOLRAD Presents: METAMORPHOSIS by Tutu

Wilson Greogorio wakes up turned into a beetle. Now incapable of doing the things he once could
as a human, he surprisingly isn’t too stressed about it. His family kicks him out, after all he is a bug.
Outside, he tries to find new goals as an insect, but it seems the world has already decided what to
do with unproductive bugs. A reinterpretation of Kafka’s classic.

TUTU
Someone knocks on the door:
An impatient finger,
a drip,
footsteps approaching.
A vague, hopeless typing,
the heartbeat,
the hands of the clock racing,
countdown.
A sound, a breath
steady and unrelenting.

Love it! A wonderful updating of Kafka’s timeless theme.
