Dark Pants, the latest comic from Matt MacFarland, is a mix of The Mask meets Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with just a touch of Charles Burns. Each issue in the series is a self-contained story revolving around a unique protagonist in a distinct neighborhood of Los Angeles.  Each story starts with a character who is in some kind of life crisis, whether it be a recent break-up, a difficult marriage, or general dissatisfaction with their life or career.  Upon finding the mysterious Dark Pants, black jeans with gold snakes embroidered on the back pockets, their lives are changed forever.  Find more at www.mattiemac.com.
