SOLRAD Presents: The Currency of Community By Dean Haspiel

Today, as a special treat, we have two Dean Haspiel pieces – the first, an interview in our “Knowing Is Half The Battle” series with SOLRAD Editor-in-Chief Daniel Elkin, and second, a brand new Red Hook comic from Dean Haspiel which has never before been published openly online.

This piece, “The Currency of Community,” was published in PANDEMIX, a fundraising anthology for the Heroes Initiative, which helps cover medical bills, living expenses, and other emergency costs for comics-makers in need.

Dean Haspiel is an American cartoonist, writer, and playwright. His latest project, The Red Hook, has been published by Image Comics and is also serialized on webtoons. You can check out the comic here with the first episode.
