Julieta Gutnisky (aka Juligut) is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Córdoba, Argentina, who serves as the creative director of her own company specializing in social media content and graphic design for gastronomic ventures. Julieta’s background includes studying graphic design, working in advertising agencies, and freelancing. She also pursued a postgraduate degree in illustration at the EINA School in Barcelona.
Parallel to her professional endeavors, Julieta engages in personal artistic projects, including comics, small sculptures, fanzines, and watercolor paintings.
Drawing has been the enduring anchor in Julieta’s life for the past 34 years, a constant amidst change that has kept her mostly sane. Discovering comic strips as a means to process emotions was a revelation for her, marking the moment she found her true medium for expressing emotions and ideas. Julieta’s work focuses on refining narratives that resonate deeply with her: navigating adulthood, advocating for feminism, exploring art and music, and addressing the emotional healing process of her younger self. For Julieta, drawing comics is not just therapeutic; it’s a profound way to understand herself and connect with others who share similar experiences.
