It’s hard to believe, but SOLRAD is officially a year old as of January 1st, 2021. I’ve shouted this from every rooftop on every platform that will have me, but SOLRAD has been a success by all metrics. Despite there being a plague going on, we published over 500 reviews, interviews, and comics, had 35K unique readers, and over 100K views. That’s huge! We couldn’t have done this without you, dear reader, so thank you.

Like all good internet-associated media enterprises, SOLRAD is doing a “Best Of-” list for 2020 comics, and we’ve asked all of our contributing critics and cartoonists to participate. That piece will be going up later this week, so keep your eyes peeled.

We’ll also have two new comics this week from our SOLRAD Comics series; one, a graphic interview from Gabriela Güllich, and another, a brand new comic from November Garcia! Keep your eyes peeled, we’re excited to have both of these fantastic cartoonists working with us in 2021.

In other plans, we’ll have more of our ‘Knowing Is Half the Battle’ series from EIC Daniel Elkin, we’ll invite some new contributors to the SOLRAD mix, and I swear to God that we’re going to get a podcast recorded at some point. We tried our best to make Solo Exchange Diary happen over the holiday break, and dear readers, it didn’t happen.
