Jesse Lee Kercheval is an award-winning poet, writer, and translator who splits her time between Madison, Wisconsin and Montevideo, Uruguay. Jesse Lee is the author of 18 books, and is a translator of Uruguayan poetry into English. Her translations include work by Circe Maia, Idea Vilariño, Tatiana Oroño, Javier Etchevarren, and many others. Fieldmouse Press published French Girl, her debut graphic memoir, in 2024.
