Jason Sacks is the author of numerous books and articles about comic books, science fiction and film. Among his books are The American Comic Book Chronicles: the 1970s, 80s and 1990s, Steve Gerber: Conversations and Jim Shooter: Conversations. The former publisher of the acclaimed website Comics Bulletin, Jason is a frequent columnist for the Hugo Award-nominated website Galactic Journey. This is his first article for SOLRAD and hopefully not his last.
