Maddie Williams

Hello I’m Maddie, born and raised in London but now living in Cornwall. I’m relatively new to the world of comics, I can’t say I grew up reading them - I often felt they weren't really for girls like me. Fortunately I have since learnt that there are comics out there for everyone and I am fostering a new sense of curiosity and respect for the medium. Initially I studied Fashion Design at Edinburgh College of Art graduating in 2017. I worked in various roles within the Fashion industry for 5 years before deciding I’d like a change of direction. In 2022 I began my studies on the MA Illustration with Authorial Practice course at Falmouth University (UK), the course has sparked my enthusiasm for both making and writing about comics!
